Reneice is a queer life coach, writer, plus-size model, and vocalist in Los Angeles, CA. She received her Masters in Social Work from New York University in 2012, and practiced for years as a family and child therapist. She now uses her therapeutic training along with 5 years of experience as an advocate in the body positive community to inform her mindfulness centered life coaching practice. She is a writer at Autostraddle.com and has published numerous articles and essays for the site on topics ranging from mental health and race to fashion and her popular baking column Femme Brûlée. Reneice is also in her second year on Senior Staff as the Evening Programming and Talent Liaison for A-Camp, the queer adult summer camp run by Autostraddle.
Reneice has modeled for a number of size inclusive brands such as Torrid, Tomboy X, and the Plus Bus, and has been photographed by known and loved body positive photographers Shoog McDaniel and Cheyenne Gil. An accomplished singer, Reneice has completed over a decade of professional vocal training and in that time has performed with many incredible ensembles such as The Astoria Choir, Hollywood Master Chorale, and The California Philharmonic Orchestra Chorale. She has held major and supporting roles in over 12 musical productions, and has had the honor of performing with queer music icons Mary Lambert, and Be Steadwell. She is currently working on a number of upcoming projects including a cookbook and scripts for film and television.
